So January 7th I installed a new exedy heavy duty clutch... On the 6th of de Utah driving to my gf's change to 3rd gear and clutch pedal didn't come back off the floor... Pulled it out found the thrust bearing had ripped out of the pressure plate... And ways exedy warranted it 3 weeks later and gave me a new clutch... Then tonight just 3 weeks after installing the new clutch same thing happened!!!
I have always used exedy in all my cars and all our customers cars and never had a problem.. Untill these last 2 clutches!

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them or am I just that unfortunate to get 2 faulty clutch's??? Or could there be an underlying problem causing this?? Had an exedy hd in prior to all these and was great! Lasted over a yr ( drag strip was it's demise ) the only thing changed since then is the gearbox... Could this be causing this???

I can bring my pedal back up but the thrust bearing has disengaged from the pressure plate.. There fore I have no clutch. And I can't clip the thrust bearing back into the pressure plate by hand...

Going to call exedy today and find out if they have heard of this problem.

Ok guys so exedy dropped the clutch back to me at work showed me where the clutch fork has been pivoting on the thrust bearing... End result is that the forks of my clutch fork are bent and pulling at the bearing on an angle.. In turn causing it to pop out.
