Rules and Guidelines of this Forum
Why do we have rules? Because we want the RexNuts Forum to be around for a very long time and to serve as a resource - in other words, to keep things organized.
1) Posting Pics: RexNuts reserves the right to remove any material posted that is deemed to be sexual, explicit, pornographic, harassing or contains nudity. If the material posted is not work safe then do not post it up on RexNuts. Therefore Forum members take full legal responsibility of their own threads/posts made, not RexNuts. We reserve the right to delete material that breaches the rules and guidelines. We will do our best to remove any material posted outside of these guidelines as quickly as possible.
2) Fill In Your Location: This allows forum members to see what state you’re in. It also allows forum members to see where you’re located, location helps if people have a question about your car or when you're buying/selling something in the for sale section.
3) Keep Sigs Small: We mean in dimensions and file size. This helps people with slow internet connections and/or small screens minimize waiting and/or excessive scrolling.
4) For sale section: Relevant Thread Title. Preferably, put the year, make & model of the car you're posting about in the Subject. It makes searching easy later on. You must post a price and post pics. People are going to ask, so just do it from the get go. Try to keep the image size under 800 pixels wide, for the same reasons as above. Negotiating on buying and selling to be done via pm only. Do not post up ridiculous offers. Users with less than 30 posts will not be able to create own threads in the sale section
5) 5 Group Buys: Only permitted once approval his been given via pm. So if you want to set up a group buy pm a mod with all the details of the buy. The details of the group buy will be approved or declined by the RexNuts Moderator Team. 6) No CAPS: Turn off ALL CAPS We don't like to be yelled at, and CAPS = YELLING! Also, please keep user names to lower case. Caps okay on the first letter (grammatically), or where appropriate (eg. KFC)
7) Thread jacking: Refrain from Thread jacking. If you want to show other readers your cars, start your own thread. Going slightly off topic will be tollerated as long as it ends up back on topic. Sometimes thread jacking happens with good intentions, so the Mods will deal with it as needed.
8) Double posting- use the search button: Before you start a thread use the forum search engine option. There’s nothing worse on a forum when the same question is asked over and over again. It clogs the forum up with threads that have been discussed already. It also annoys members have already replied to same question in another thread. The moderators reserve the right to move, lock or delete a thread that has already been discussed.
9) Don't Dis Forum Members Or Their Rides: You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but we'd like you to keep it to yourself if it can be construed as hateful or negative.
