yeh, slight scaling issue on the graph though. judging by bum dyno, full boost / torque seems to kick in around 3200rpm, not the 2800 as it suggests.

If theres a dyno day some time, ill see how it compares. Car is a blessing to drive than before.

Is that why it goes from 2610 --> 3040 --> 2960 --> 4170 ?

I don't get it... I posted the same review I did about hunter dyno here.. in r.exnet as well and michael posted this comment...

I'm finally part of "Team 200KW@tw thread

don't want to burst your bubble but it's done on 10kph/sec, all ones i do are at 7kph/sec, do it back at that brings you back to 198 lol :) also starting run at 3100, makes torque low end look more than it is, hard to see how it comes on when it is already on loaded up. ;)

Anyway... yeah I've heard great things about twin scroll setups.. I can't imagine how it must go now :D

What about a precision turbo? Not cheap but don't they get awesome spool because of the billet wheels? I've heard they do a turbo the size of a gt35 that spools like a gt30!

How are you liking that Kando Turbo? What sorta power you pulling from that thing? I'd also suggest a 16g for fast spool. Not much top end tho.

For a bit more power I'd suggest a 18G TD05 7cm. Will still spool decent but get a bit more power than a 16g. 8cm will net you more also.

BBK, Precision, FP.. All are very good turbo's. But come with the pricetag. HTA68 might be a bit big for her needs tho.. lol.. But she could get 260killerwasps!

Don't write off the newer turbos either!

The vf39/43and48

Can all be had cheap, Gate improvements, Little bit larger ex housing which helps any surge issues. Spool just as good as a vf34.

Just get a GT40r, you'll be right.. I promise.. lol

But yeah, First think of a pricetag you want to spend on the Turbo, Dont forget you'll need a tune, fuel pump ect ect. Dont trust that old stocko pumpo!

From my experience, you'd love a vf24/28 over a vf35... Slightly smaller compressor, but a ball bearing larger p18 housing.

too laggy on a 2 litre. td0520g8 max, the td06 is just to big. plus it would be pushing the life of the internals

What can AVo get out of a AVO500 - 550 turbo now thats been re calibrated?

I'd bet the same power figure!! again this cant be matched by ANY Sydney dyno, take your car to Springys and see what you get.

Dude, you cant throw out a comment like "its not as happy as your nsw dynos" and expect no response from us up here, AVO dyno IS happy, been proven heaps of times.....in the end who cares, just don't put shit on Sydney stuff ok :)

:greetings-waveyellow:

Haha ok buddy

i don't have an AVO turbo.
a built 2.5 sti with avo 500 did 240 kw atw. take it to msr and it would probably make 300, as he makes 200 with p15's
it has only been reclalibrated within the last 2 months. it runs basically the same as hpf and springy (1-5kw diff)
(im not hanging shit or trying to offend msr, just think he's dyno is pretty optomistic making 200 with vf34 p15's)

also i dislike Avo's turbos, i would never buy one myself. that sti made full boost at 5500rpm

Agreed AVO turbos are shit, my 550 never went close to what AVO said they could make, and thats even on a Disney Sydney dyno :)

Go on w3xn3t and see what MSR cars are doing now with his secret pipe mod ;)

Back when I had my VF35 and 18.5psi 3 inch exhaust and air filter produced $181kw atw, some with similar mods were getting 200+ from Autotech and MSR, always wondered how, all in the tune I was told!!
