Hi all,

I got a 10" sub in my boot (more than enough for me, im getting old) in a box i bought from strathfields..
When i turn the sound up, the boot rattles and heaps of noise. This is especially around the number plate region.
I have had DYNOMAT installed professionally, but there is still rattles.

Whats the best way i can get rid of them? Sounds good inside and the dynomat keeps the sound in the car.. until its really loud But when its turned up loud all u can really hear outside the car is rattles galore!

Suggestions or what i can do?

Find out what exactly is making the rattle. Same thing happened in my old 04...turns out there was something in between the body and the boot liner. Turn the sound up until you hear the source and then it'll be easier to figure out how to stop whatever it is that's making the rattle.

Yeah you need to find the rattling bit... I found some vents on the rear corners that were rattling so I fixed it with some tape... had to remove the liner to see them.. also check the number plate

Kill them with fire. Simple.

Pretty sure that's what was going on with my old 04 wrx. Pain in the ass!
