Hi guys -

I'm currently installing a Pioneer AVIC-F20BT
http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Navigation/In%20Dash%20Navigation/AVIC-F20BT.aspx

and wondering if anyone knows where the VSS wire is?

I've looked @ this post from subaruforester.org http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f77/vss-wire-09-10-foresters-56003/
but being in the US - im assuming its opposite being in aud, however, when i looked under OUR DRIVERS SIDE dash - i couldn't match up the plug they have there in the photo... I also for S%&t's and giggles took apart our passenger side as well to find it but to no avail.

anyone?

im assuming the 08+ Impreza's would share the same wiring as the forester - hence my post here :)

cheers,
Marcus

^ Thanks Nick for the recommendation. :) I also resent your package yesterday, so you should have it shortly.

As for the VSS wire, it can be found with a multimeter. Its the one that will give you a voltage pulse when moving forward. Kinda hard to test with just the one person, as you need to drive forward a bit to test it with someone holding the DMM in the cluster loom.

If you can find a rough idea of which one it is then that will help. They vary from model to model, eg, WRX wire is different to STi, and so on, and even through the years they change, despite having the same cluster!

Hope that helps.
