Hey guys,

Looking at a new double din head unit for my rexy. Saw this unit on the pioneer website which looks fantastic. A little on the very steep side but would be able to throw my TomTom out too :)

http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Navi ... F20BT.aspx

Let me know what you think.

Also, am I right in saying that this would be powerful enough to operate two really good amps and subs and speakers etc?

Cheers!

This might be useful to you. The might car mod boys install one exactly the same or a model before the one you like so it may be useful, maybe maybe not!

Haha yea. Just ask the bloke who installs it not to connect that wire. People who like to roll down George Street on a Saturday night would definitely have already asked the question ;)

Yea, when you think that its just a really good head unit, plus a touch screen, plus a GPS...it surely couldn't be THAT much could it?

The F20 is a brilliant unit from all reports. At around this price though, id also be considering the Eclipse AVN-726EA - another brilliant unit, and then go with whichever suits your needs, taste and budget.

PM or email me if you like for more information. Good luck! :)

The Pioneer systems are easy to bypass the handbrake mod.

You have to move the yellow cable (cant remember what it was for) to another spare slot in the harness and earth it. Also earth the handbrake cable too.
