How many events do you go to and the paint on cars is scratched and swirled and just plain dull. To some people paint and vehicle appearance is secondary to performance. To others its everything and one of the hardest things to do is keeping the exterior looking good. Black and charcoal metallic cars make up 26% of cars registered last year that’s a huge but predicted jump from just 5% five years ago and it is a hard colour to look after. That’s where microfibre comes into play. Starting with a Microfibre Sponge and Chamois such as the MLH Chenille Sponge (Blue noodle) and the Blue Microfibre Chamois.

The technology in Microfibre reduces the chance of scratching the surface because of its ability to pull and hold fine dirt particles.
Couple this with suds and separate rinse water bucket and you are on the way to a scratch free finish. After thoroughly rinsing off the vehicle clean it up with a MLH professional size 210 chamois , the best of its type that I have used to date it is super absorbent. Then follow it with a dry Microfibre towel to finish it off
You can wash all the Chamois and Towels in hot soapy water with no fabric softener, double rinse them before hanging to dry. The chamois do not need damp storing like a leather Chamois. Note with Microfibre Chamois avoid wiper blades and sharp corners as they can pull the threads which can be cut off.

Tips :
• Use a Microfiber chamois to dry off surfaces after washing;
• After washing your car, use a microfiber chamois to dry your car.
• Before drying, rinse the microfiber chamois cloth in clean water, and wring out.
Remove the majority of water from your car before you dry it by sweeping the chamois over the car; wring out excess water as you proceed.
• Always work under a shaded cool area, this will prevent water spots.
• Start from the roof and work your way down to the wheels.
• Try and use 2 different microfiber chamois, one to dry your wheels and the other for the car’s body
• Regular washing of the microfiber chamois in luke warm soapy water will ensure the chamois is always kept clean and dirt free
