Today i picked myself up a Christmas present

JVC woodcone 6" splits There is limited stock for these speakers as its a special deal so I thought I would let everyone know that its out there.
They cost $450 as they are on special at autobarns marked down from $1000, i picked up the last one in slacks creek in QLD, but i heard there is a few left in capalaba, i cant spell it lol.

They come in a fancy wooden box aswell HELL YES!!!! lol

Holy mother of God.. $4k retail.. and u got for $450! LOL!

I know that for $1k, i wouldn't be buying speakers from a manufacturer that also makes cheap TVs and cameras. Same goes for $4k.

I'd be looking at brands that solely put all their Research and Development into making the best speakers money can buy. Dynaudio, Crescendo, Micro Precision, Morel, Seas Lotus, DLS, just to name a few.

I guess for $450, the JVCs are probably a pretty good buy, i'd be interested to hear a set if anyone in NSW ends up with a set.

Those tweeters ribbon based? They look impressive and the crossovers are quite big too.
