I used a similar product on my headlights Can't remember the name but it was in a red/maroon bottle with a Labrador as its logo on the front cover

Came up a dream(only problem though I have to do it every 3months)

its a plastic cut and polish for headlights

On my old car I used VERY fine sandpaper, then rubbed in some Brasso. they turned out awesome! I had previously removed the headlights already but you could do this in 5-10 mins or so.
The only problem with this method is you sand off the UV protective layer from the headlight (which means they will turn yellow again quicker), which I believe can be sprayed back on but I dont know where you would get it.
Not sure if the scratchx would have the same problem
