Head service.

Hi,

Hopefully next week sometime my 03 STI heads will be going in to have the following done:

- Acid wash
- Fit new valves
- Service heads
- Mild Port & Polish

I was just wondering what exactly gets done with the head servicing? Also the heads have 162,500 km's on them and I was just wondering if it would be fine to reuse the stock STI retainers or should I get new ones? I have a set of Kelford 264 cams, Brian Crower valve springs & Ferrea valves to go in.

Dont forget new seals.
just use Subaru or get some titanium retainers so you have some street cred.

I got some Brian Crower Titanium retainers. My street cred just went up a notch Kris

Yes It did. And what was I thinking replacing those stunning 20" chromies with a set of Rota Gforces. I think I need my head read
