Just put on a bigger turbo , fark me what a difference, car didnt make much more top end power, jumped from 295kw -310.2kw, but the biggest gains were in spool and mid range torque.

At 110kmph previous tune with avo550 my car made a tad under 220kw, now Im making 287kw at the same load point
Max power is at 117kmph, anyone know what rpm that would be in 4th? Im thinking about 4000 rpm

HKS Hypermax fully adjustable suspension on
New clutch installed
New ball joints fitted
Precision Turbo 6262 ordered from the states, will run the Turbonetics until this arrives, Turbonetics Turbo now with all new seals, bearings and balanced, when my other turbo arrives I will have the Turbonetics up for sale cheap, like I said I have had this turbo fully rebuilt in lui of what happened last time with the AVO550, don't want a repeat of that.

So I'm rearing to go racing, well almost, just one question out there for the boffs, I need a VF to T3 adapter plate, the one I have I have been told is a little restrictive and got told I need a 2.5 inch not a 2 1/4 inch pipe, anyone ??

What made you go with the Precision 6262 and not a GTX35 Dave ??

Wouldnt you be better off just making a new uppipe to suit ??

Is a GTX35 a twin scroll variant of the GT35 or is the only change a billet wheel?

Just source the flanges & go to your local mufler shop, will be cheap. No need to spend big bucks on brand name bling w3xn3t style

When I bought the gtk650 it came with a adaptor plate, all intercooler pipes made to suit, not it a case of modding an up pipe, I need the adaptor, no biggest I'll vet my new mechanic to fix as he's a pedantic guy and doest want to fit the old one back up.

Paul, I went with the precision after seeing the results these turbos are getting, this one I'm getting will spool faster and make more Power more efficiently than the turbo I have, leemos mate made 400+kw with a precision and the tuners said it had more in it  , powertune have a 200sx making 380kw with a 5777, 3 sizes smaller than the one I got, look $1290 landed in Oz with 1 year warantee... Good price for a full bearing billet turbo imo, I was also looking into the option of billeting my turbonetics but wheels are not in Oz yet and cheaper to buy a precision.
If anyone out there wants a billet wheel for their Garrett the guy fixing my turbonetics can do billet wheels for around $650- $750 depending on aplication.

Paul have you gone an external gated turbo yet? if not bite the bullet mate, you'll never look back, just out of curiosity, how much is a GTX35 anyway?

ATM anything is better than the hotbitz that are on it now

Well the car they came off is a time attack form Fuji, HKS built them for it and then they make another set of the car and i got the spare set.
problem is there for 2005-2007 sti, so hub swap or i will buy some HKS 2001-2004 sti hub brackets for them.

Kris
