Just gauging interest in ppl after brandnew 2L and 2.5lt turbo short motors with CP forged pistons fitted.
We should be able to match the price's from the US as they do kits that are quite cheap compared to what's offered here in Aus.

Well i got this under way yesterday while down in Brisbane( www.perfourmancemotorsports.com.au )

We Will be offering a couple of different kits

CP's in
-sti 2L(next step up from factory forged pistons)
-sti 2.5(because factory pistons are junk)
-sti nitrated crank motor
-(soon once they land in Aus) 2011-2012 sti Hi-comp motors with hi-comp CP's to suit.
(all pistons are measured for piston to bore clearance as well as rings are re sized for clearances because its never good to just do the so called "drop in pistons")

Aswell as Rods
-eagle
-Mainly
-ARGO
-NITTO

With the Rods, each motor is striped down and bearings are re sized as well as cranks are modded of more oiling
so in other words blue printed bearings to suit(all work done by Perfourmance Motorsports)

I've had a look on US sites and they start from about $2500(for there reco style) forged motors,so there second hand motors that have been rebuilt and up graded where ours are new.
so you have
-$2500 USD
-+ freight $400-600?
-+ customs/import duty.
= about $3000 give or take $100 or so with no gasket kit.

We should be about on Par with that inc gasket kit(for the the forged piston motors.Add more for fully forged motors) And we can also offer some extra's,like ARP head and case bolt kits, Subaru TBKits cheaper than US prices $385 from the Subaru kit(no aftermarket junk) water pumps and i also have Subaru oil pumps coming from japan as well $270 each inc gst(Subaru Aus atm is $360 trade price).
