Well dont you usually sign a form saying that the shop takes no responsibility for anything that happens to the car whilst on the Dyno?

Omg that's crazy shit!!! Wow!!! Hmm what do you do when that happens? How do you get the ar back on the hoist lol. You could see it wasn't held down very well lol.

And to answer your question Mikey that is why workshops have insurance lol. They cover thugs like that.

Unless you sign something that says otherwise then they should do, I know a friend of mine (not my workshop) accodently dropped a nut in the engine while the head was off didn't realize started it up and ruined the motor and it was covered under insurance.

What did the form you signed say? Did it just refer to engine damage or also say they take no responsibility if the car goes flying off the dyno lol

TurboXS YES
TuneHouse YES
Place at Cronulla YES
Joint at Wyong YES
Joint at Villawood YES

MSR wouldnt because he may not have anything printed up yet as he is relatively new to having a Dyno.

That is a big fail!!! They shouldn't be tuning cars, if they can't set it up right.

I have never signed anything when dyno tuning, but i also know that no shop will cover any damage etc, unless they are feeling nice haha and I do know of a shop that has paid for a full rebuild when they made a mistake with tuning and blew it up. Now that is customer service :)

Someone mentioned on w3xn3t that apparently it was the Evo's EWG that burned through the front left strap.

They might've had a case for suing the evo owner for damage to their dyno equipment??

[/devil's advocate]
