Hi Guys,

Currently in the process of putting together a pretty wicked stereo as a Christmas present to myself. Rick (mad89) is going to be doing all the work for me and has been unbelievably helpful thus far. At the moment, we are trying to figure out the best way to go with the custom amp & sub rack/setup in the boot. Currently I'm going with a four channel and a monoblock which are (unfortunately) different sizes and an IDMAX 12 inch sub. I want something that is a little showy (nothing like Autosalon) but ideally would love to save as much boot space as possible.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, would prefer my sub to be magnet out! ;)

Has anybody got any ideas? If you have spare time to jot down a quick drawing, or upload a photo of your own custom amp/sub set up then that would be greatly appreciated! Basically just looking for some more ideas!

Rick feel free to add anything that might help people out!

Cheers,
Nick

Nick and I have been working together, throwing around ideas on how to go about the boot side of the installation, however he has a few limitations that need to be considered.

* Keep spare tyre access
* Use as little room as possible
* Subbox/amp rack must fit under a rear strut brace
* Sub must be inverted
* Fits at the back of the boot of the wagon, between the shock towers

With these restrictions, it doesn't leave a lot of room to have something fully custom, but rather something that displays the sub and amps, that still looks like it integrates into the car.
