Cruise To Kangaroo Valley - 17 Dec

Hi Guys,

Know its been a long time coming and maybe alittle late in planning. But our Great mate Dean is returning to us from his service in QLD for the Christmas period so we thought why not put together a cruise.

Date: Saturday 17th December
Time: 10am meet, 10.30am leave
Where: Bunnings, Narellan, Cnr Northern Rd & Porrende Street, at 10am for a 10.30am departure.
Destination: Robertsons Pie Shop, via Macquarie by Pass.
Have lunch there and then head come via
Return Journey: Head back to Campbelltown via Moss Vale

To Destination:
1. Head south-west on Porrende St towards Graham Hill Rd
2. Porrende St turns slightly right and becomes Campbell St
3. Turn left onto Camden Valley Way
4. Continue straight to stay on Camden Valley Way
5. Turn right onto Narellan Rd
6. Turn right onto the National Highway 31/Hume Highway ramp to Wollongong/Goulburn/Canberra
7. Merge onto Hume Hwy/National Highway 31
8. Take exit PICTON Rd to merge onto Picton Rd/State Route 88 towards Wollongong
9. Take the ramp onto Mount Ousley Rd
10. Continue straight onto Southern Freeway
11. Continue onto Princes Hwy
12. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Illawarra Hwy
13. Turn right onto Illawarra Hwy/Tongarra Rd/National Route 48/Tourist Drive 8 (signs for Moss Vale)
Continue to follow Illawarra Hwy/National Route 48
Go through 1 roundabout
Destination: Robertson Pie shop. Illawarra Hwy

Return Journey:
1. Head west on Illawarra Hwy towards The Old Rd
2. Turn right onto Sheepwash Rd/State Route 80 (signs for Bowral)
Continue to follow State Route 80
3. Turn right onto Tourist Rd
4. Take the 1st left on to Range Rd
5. Turn left to stay on Range Rd
6. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Old South Rd
7. Turn left onto Bong Bong Rd
8. Turn right onto Ferguson Cres
9. Take the 1st left on to Inkerman Rd
10. Turn right onto Old Hume Hwy
11. Take the on ramp onto Hume Hwy
12. Take exit Narellan Road to merge onto Narellan Rd/Metroad 9 towards Camden/Penrith
Continue to follow Metroad 9
13. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Porrende St
Destination will be on the left

Thanks for this Sarah. Hope the guys can make it. Going to be good to see everyone again. Going to be good back in the car scene again even though I'm only down for a couple of weeks. It's been at lest 12 months since I was a cruise. Can't wait for this.

I'll be there in spirit.. I will be making the trip up to sydney for 2 other weeks, so dont think ill kill myself and do a third.. and the unofficial date for my christmas is sposed to be that weekend. Hope you guys have fun..

I may be in for this, pending if i've got stuff on.

Can i strongly suggest not to go along Range Rd. I've been doing some work up there the past couple of weeks and travel that road twice a day. Its currently pretty trashed with the weather we've been having, its very bumpy, lots of pot holes and is very narrow since the gravel etc on the sides of it has washed away. I wouldn't want to take my pride and joy along it, especially some of the guys with 18's and stuff, definitely not recommended. Thankfully i don't drive along it in my own car!
