Anything and everything. Air your thoughts.

One thing i do ask.. If you have a complaint, please explain why you are sayingso, and provide us with a way to fix or better it for future cruises.

I think theyre good so far.

One thing i suggest is at some point, gather round the participants and perhaps introduce ourselves. Tell everyone our real names and user names and maybe just have a general chat? Sometimes its hard for randoms or individuals to mingle when theres groups that form among the people (because they already know each other).

It happens at almost every cruise/show/stereo comp/whatever that i've ever been to. Not everyone is outgoing enough to jump into a group of say 5-6 people that know each other already and are chatting, and just be like "HEY GUYS!" haha. Awkward much?

Hopefully this makes sense? lol.

It is difficult when we have 40 or so cars (about 80 people) and to get everybody together and to introduce themselves...and time consuming also...

People need to be reminded that we have other meeting such as Hooters etc that they can come to...

We have held 2 of those meets now since RexNuts started and the same 8 or so members have only come...

Yeah Kurt, i get what you're saying. Just a suggestion is all. Example, if i hadnt come up and intro'd myself to you at Pat at the Kiama cruise, i probably wouldnt have known or chatted to anyone. Same with Kangaroo Valley, where i met STAX and Domino.

yer i understand mate...
each person is different but...some like to meet everyone..some like to hang back and keep to themselves...
Its pretty easy to see who the organisers are most of the time...

Its up to you guys to come and introduce yourselves....Its hard for us guys sometimes to see who is on the cruise and who isnt..

But next meet we will bunch everyone up and introduce ourselves and go from there

I agree with Rick.
We all need to mingle more and make the effort to say hello.

During my defect meets I used to go around to 30-40 odd people and introduced myself. First thing I did I introduced myself as the organizer, then complimented them on their car, modifications etc and asked them is they found it easy to get to the location, where they came from etc.

These days I stay in contact with most of those I met at meets myself.

It leads to having more friends and getting info to use for future meets.

Thats just me...

What do you mean by Defect Meets..?
Were they the ones that you told your brother (the policeman) about so he could have all the cops and RTA come to...

I agree with mad89 .. Best time to break the ice is right at the start of the cruise ...
I think those who come out most often and knows who's who in the zoo, should proactively go out to meet new comers ...
I'd normally do that when I am on the cruise anyway....

:funky with glasses:
