Hey guys,

For most audio enthusiasts, Crescendo speakers and subwoofers need no introduction, but for those not in the know, Crescendo have been in the business of manufacturing some of the nicest sounding speakers for quite some time now, whilst also making some noise (no pun intended) at various Sound Quality competitions across Australia and Indonesia with very pleasing results.

With new speaker models on the way, there have been some significant reductions across the whole range to try and make some space for the new arrivals!

Eclipse's CD5030 is a GREAT value head unit for what it is. CD/CDRW/MP3/Bluetooth/USB/iPod/iPhone/AUX in, with 3x 5 volt preouts, 7 band parametric EQ, Time Alignment and adjustable crossovers, and a nice EL/dot matrix screen that displays plenty of info - all for under $500.

The parent company of Eclipse is Fujitsu Ten, so you know you're getting good Japanese build quality, and they look right at home in the Subaru dash as a nice little added bonus too. I recently put one into an 06 STi, and switched the backlighting from blue to red, and it looks awesome since its now matched to the gauge cluster too.

I noticed your pioneer hu running slower than mine and I have a cheaper pioneer double din...
I think you can hack your model though..

Eclipse kick ass
I had one before and the sound quality was awesome but the iPod control was crap..
Newer models should be better by now I reckon.

IPod control on the new Eclipse units is excellent! Especially thanks to the EL screen. The iPod cable extends the USB cable, so you can run a thumb drive instead if you like!

On topic though, All Opus 8.9B 3 way sets and Opus 8.6 2 way sets are now SOLD OUT

For those looking for a cheap OEM upgrade, Opus 1 is a GREAT set of speakers that will fit straight into the Subaru factory front speaker locations with no modifications at all, just some nice solid MDF spacers, and they are a steal at this price!
