 Post subject: AVCS vs non-AVCS heads.

Real Name: Robbie.
Do they both use the same valves, springs & retainers? I know I need AVCS specific cams for my 03 STI heads but can I use any EJ20 valves, springs & retainers or do they need to be AVCS specific too?

same size valve's,all valves and springs interchange able and so on, you can use 99-02 wrx and drill all the oil hole to use avcs set up on the heads.
