Did you go ball bearing?? if so how did you tell they sent you the genuine BB?....reason I ask is that I have heard some stories about precision turbos being bought from the states ,people paying for BB but getting sent the cheaper journal bearing ones.

It should also say what it is on the sticker for it.

It looks like a baby turbo for my lawn mower bro, harden up and go to a 6765 or bigger.

Kris

I was thinking of one of these too, there's so many combos it's hard to choose, I wonder how they compare to GTX ?

They are half the price of the GTX, Australia's fastest 6 speed wrx runs a 6265 10.7 137mph

Widge, mate Kev also has a 6765 looking for 500kw atw lol, that would be nuts in a GTR

Funny knut :) I think big enough Kris, I don't want 500kwatw like most of you queenslanders.

900hp turbo to big for me Kris, I'll leave that for Leemo, Kev and Brian although his little O'l 6265 did the trick last week 10.7!!! 137mph

Is yours water-cooled ?

Website says air cooled for bb model, wonder how that will go on a circuit running +25 psi

Got a link to website that has good prices ?

Guy called Lenny, apparently no probs with track use, thats what I asked him about and they don't seem to have any problems, think about how hot the water would be anyhow going through that turbo anyhow, hardly going to cool anything down

Fair enough, i guess water cooling is more for street use/no need to cool down

They have certainly proven themselves on the dragstrip, that GC is quite impressive, good fuel & some boost & yours should get up & go!

That's what I'm hoping for, E85 27psi and hopefully 350+kw, like Leemo said this turbo will do 400 standing on its head, but 400 is another game altogether and I think around 350 with E85 should be a fairly safe bet, runs a lot cooler than normal fuel, we think 350 is achievable on 98 but an keen to keep temps down, just need some $$$ now to complete.
Just laid down a house deposit so a little cash strapped right now :(

350kw for a street track car is over the top..so Davo you will be happy bro, it will make a dam fast car!

the older type 6765-6765 were also water cooled using garrett core, now they make there own, oil cooled and lube is no problem
(Davo water in the motor tend's to be cooler than the running temp of engine oil)hints why they water cool them,20 deg cooler is better than nothing.

Krismas, 350kw is the lowest level required to enter race wars down here. Can't beat GSXR1000's with 20 psi bro

Is there any recorded spool differences between BB & TB units ? The thrust bearings are hell cheap

Bra you need 30pnd to race gsxr's.
BB are cool but TB is dam cheaper and well worth the money you save.

Davo you will love it and so will the ladies bro.(you will pull more ladies and dyno #'s than Nicks ricer of death)
