My suggestion would to be to postpone the event to a better weathered day as the Port botany locations would have some good shots if weather is/was clear.

Well according to the weather it is supposed to be raining right now.

You can also try the supa centre at moore park. They have undercover parking with no costs. thats the only one i can think of that would be open after hours. there is parking undercover across from bondi westfields but they are always full.

does anyone have like a big tent thing? like a pergola kind of thing? that would always work

I am updating both sites (ozfoz + rexnuts) with info. I have all the stuff if the freezer at home (44 sausages, onions, etc) but haven't got rolls yet as i'd rather them be fresh.

Hey guys if it is too wet there is a car park at the Eastgardens Westfields, its HUGE and heaps of undercover parking. Its only a 10-15 min drive away from the Port Botany location and you dont need a ticket so we can stay there as long as we want.

Is there any semi-covered area outside of the carpark? Only reason I ask is for the bbq. I doubt security or westfields management would appreciate fire alarms going off due to the bbq!

Just do the BBQ as close to the side of the carpark as you can get. Its only a $500 fine if the alarm goes off and the firies come :p

I was going to give them a call but I have just been distracted by a few other things at work and .. stuff ..

This weather is chat .. I went outside to get a coffee and it was raining pretty heavily. I go upstairs, get an umberella, downstairs in the space of 1-2 minutes and it has stopped. Not even a light sprinkle.

I am monitoring the BOM radar and talk about patchy rain...

Unfortunately i cant think of anywhere in the area however the car park does have a spot where it is half covered half not so maybe that could help????

Any illegal/stupid behaviour will get us kicked out almost instantly. Be mature and follow road & center rules. Being a dick will jeopardise any future events and you will be reported to authorities by either centre management, security or someone with a camera. Car clubs need to deal with enough bad publicity due to idiots. Please dont be one of them and do your best to support the car scene which has actual enthusiasts.
