I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of awkw are achievable before the stock 03 STI headers become a restriction? If I could keep my stock headers on the car for now it would save me some cash that can be spent else where to get my car back on the road sooner.

Somewhere just after 220 and before 250atw.

There's a guy on R.e.x.n.e.t making 272.3 kw atw with his stock 2006 STI headers.

If you have a few hundg $$ to spare, MSR says the Kando UEL headers are pretty good.

That's the problem, I don't. Lol. I will add them later on down the track.

What size engine?

2.2L stroker (2.137 or there abouts) and Kelford 264 cams.

Its not when they become the restriction that's the problem its when the gains from some aftermarket headers make with your set up and what your aim is. some equal length with single up pipe will gain just by swapping them over will make you about 15kw on average.
